For the 75 hard challenge any structured eating plan works – as long as it’s clear, intentional, and something you stick to for all 75 days.
It doesn’t need to be extreme; it just needs to be a real plan you won’t break, including no cheat meals and no alcohol.
Is there an easier alternative to the 75 Hard challenge?
Yes.
Some people follow modified versions like the 75 Medium or 75 Soft challenges which keep the spirit of the challenge but lower the intensity.

What daily tasks do I need to complete for 75 Hard?
To complete the 75 hard challenge you very you must complete the following:
Two 45-minute workouts (one must be outdoors)
1 gallon of water
10 pages of reading (nonfiction)
Follow a diet with no cheat meals
No alcohol
A daily progress photo
All six tasks must be done every day.
